A lot of times, I can’t help but gaze at the beauty above, around, and within…
At a pathway, seeing a rose blossom in its timing and standing tall among grays,
A bird singing soft melodies and wondering who taught it exquisite tunes,
A star sparkling so bright, and you just know it’s perfect for the night,
The splendor of a sunset, and quite more…. Everything is perfectly proportioned.
In all these, we see reflections of God’s beauty and evidence of Him being a beautifier.
Oh, the world is full of his exhibits!
“Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain; who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters; who maketh the clouds his chariot; who walketh upon the wings of the wind”
Psalms 104 proclaims the radiant beauty of God that exudes from His very essence and I can’t help but exclaim at times in the face of trials, “Do you know who my God is?”
“He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth; He touches the hills, and they smoke.”
Such a beauty!
To the one who is perfect and all-sufficient, a beauty to behold and a beautifier,
He, who has chosen the year 2024 as the perfect time to decorate us with all-round beauty,
He, who makes all things beautiful in their own time,
Be all glory, honour and adoration!
He’s orchestrating a masterpiece of beauty in you in 2024;
A perfect masterpiece has He made you;
A perfect beauty has He created you
Waiting to shine His light more radiantly on you,
Showcasing his beauty and works through all the ends of the earth and
Establishing His counsel and His works through a vessel like you.
What a privilege!
“And men beheld you and saw the wonderful works of Abba in your life and they glorified God in you because your light so much shone before them” (2 Corinthians 2:14, Galatians 1:24)
Oh, what a year this will be!
Despite your past records of ashes, despite your shortcomings, God has promised to perfect His beauty in your life. He has promised to cause His face to shine upon you so brightly that His glory will overshadow your gory story.
Yes, the ONE that gives beauty for ashes,
Grace for grays, mercy to wipe messes, and
Favor at all fronts has chosen your life to radiate His glory.
All you need to do is to stay in Christ and embrace the beauty unfolding before you because at DCA, this is our covenant!
